Commitment and Marriage

You love your boyfriend since last six months. In the starting of the love or during the first three or four months you might not think of marriage. You can not keep continue as lovers alone indefinitely and not forward to the next stage of wedding. Have you had he question in your mind that when he will tie the knot in your neck or when he will announce that you are his wife to the public in the church? This means that your lover is yet to commit to marry you. Some of the men will openly tell about his marriage plan and ask your opinion. Many of the boyfriends are reluctant to disclose their wedding plans to the lover because they are worried about the new responsibility after marriage and panic about that. They will try to change the topic when it pin point about the wedding and after marriage future plan.

How to estimate the level of your boyfriend’s commitment toward marriage? One simple test is, open your ears widely and focus the phrases he used when he converse with you. If the words like “we” or “us” are jumped out from his mouth, he is serious in wedding you and will stage soon. You are not lucky if he used the words like “I” or “me”. Still he wants to be in single and yet to gain the mental maturity to reach the next milestone of life called wedding and promoted to the position of husband.

One more symptom is that how he handle his income. You do some research in this line. Does he have any savings plan and retirement plan? Is he looking for a bigger house than his current single room? Is he contact bank and inquire about home loan? Did he call you to have a look to the new apartment or ask your dream about the house to live? If the answer is “yes” for one or more than one to the above queries, he is having a well plan to wed you and ready to enter in to the heaven. Needless to say that your boyfriend is like a cat on the wall and he may leave you, if you find the answer “No” for all the queries.
